Universe D Advantage (UDA) is designed to provide a centralized storage of valuable documentation. The system allows accessibility to the documents using secure user authentication via the intranet/internet.

UDA stores documents via user defined indices and these documents can be categorized by different document class. This categorized storage ensures quick search capability for specific documents against the multiple user defined document classes. Depending upon a user’s access right, UDA will restrict unauthorized attempts to delete, edit, or view certain documents. The system provides a check-in/check-out of documents, thus keeping a history of changes and enabling users to recover any previous versions of their documents, if necessary.

System structure
The system consists of a server and client components
The server
- manages stored documents and other additional information;
- performs search according to the specified criteria;
- sends documents to the clients to view or edit;
- receive new documents
These and other actions are triggered by requests from the clients, transmitted via a web interface. In addition to the above functions, the server also handles web-requests.

Users access the system through the Internet Explorer web browser. This eliminates the installation any specialized client software on user desktops to work with UDA.
The system can be expanded by additional third party modules:
1. a subsystem of full-text search (server) 2. a multi-format viewing tool for various file types, not requiring installation of the authoring applications (client).
Universe D Advantage can be integrated with any ERP system.
This product uses Microsoft .NET technology.
