Crane uses millions of pounds of denim fabric to make US currency paper. Crane makes the most popular paper in the United States. They’ve been making paper for US currency since 1879.

Solutions Advantage provided its own Document Management System (DMS), UniverseD, for Crane’s Pre-Press Automation (PPA) solution (capturing faxes, storing, searching, and printing documents). The main goal of the solution was automatic conversions of incoming faxes into electronic form for long-term storage and on-line retrieval.
